Leah Gear, M Ed, Resident-in-Counseling
Leah is a passionate Resident-in-Counseling who provides a vibrant and deeply compassionate presence to her work with couples, teens, and adults. She specializes in helping clients navigate the complexities of life, from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety to body image concerns and religious trauma. Leah believes in centering authenticity, connection, and self-discovery to help clients embrace their true selves.
She is especially passionate about working with couples and partners who are ready to make meaningful changes. Leah's approach blends elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is actively training and working with couples. She offers all of her services virtually throughout Virginia, creating an accessible and inclusive space for healing and growth.

Couples & Partner Counseling
Leah works with couples and partners to improve communication, resolve conflict, and strengthen their bonds. Her approach helps partners navigate various challenges and foster a deeper connection, all within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Letters & Documentation
Leah offers personalized letter writing services to document your mental health needs for various purposes, including Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) and letters supporting gender-affirming care.
