Deborah is a Resident in Counseling in Virginia and a Board-Certified Music Therapist who brings a creative and compassionate approach to her work with individuals. She is passionate about supporting clients who identify as queer and/or neurodivergent, creating a space of affirmation and understanding. Deborah integrates traditional talk therapy with music therapy techniques, providing a unique and engaging therapeutic experience. She provides in person session in Lynchburg, VA, or across Virginia via telehealth.
Deborah provides individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults, specializing in working with clients who identify as queer and/or neurodivergent. She creates a safe and affirming space for clients to explore their identities, navigate life's challenges, and cultivate self-acceptance.

Deborah employs Narrative Therapy techniques to help clients re-author their life stories and separate themselves from limiting beliefs. This approach focuses on identifying and challenging negative narratives, empowering clients to create new and more empowering stories about themselves and their experiences.
Deborah utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and reducing impulsive behaviors.
