What types of therapy do you offer?
We offer a wide range of services, including individual, couples, and family therapy, plus specialized modalities like Music Therapy and Yoga for Mental Health. Our talented team includes both Licensed Professionals (LPCs) and Residents in Counseling, ensuring a broad range of expertise. You can learn more about our services here.
Where are you located?
We are located in Lynchburg, Virginia. Please see our Contact Us page for more information.
Do you offer telehealth services?
Yes, we offer telehealth services throughout Virginia. This allows you to attend therapy sessions from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Our founder, Jessica Coleman, and our Music Therapist, Deborah Hudson, are also licensed to provide certain services in multiple states (see team bios for details).
What are your hours of operation?
Our therapist's hours are varied based on therapist availability. We have appointment availability Monday through Saturday from morning until evening depending on individual therapist availability.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by contacting our office directly. We highly recommend booking a complimentary 15-minute exploration call to ensure a fit with one of our therapists or Residents.
Do you accept insurance?
We are currently able to accept the following insurances for Individual Therapy and Couples & Family Therapy services:
Do you work with commercial insurance Out-Of-Network?
Yes! We partner with Mentaya to help clients maximize their out-of-network benefits. Mentaya can verify your benefits and submit claims, making reimbursement easier.
What are the benefits of using private pay?
Using private pay services allows you to have more autonomy over how, when, and with whom your information is shared. It can also provide greater flexibility in terms of scheduling, confidentiality, and treatment options.
Do you offer sliding scale fees or payment plans?
Yes. We offer sliding scale slots based on financial need, as well as payment plans, to make our services more accessible.
What is Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC)?
PWYC is implemented to reduce third-party barriers for services. It is an agreement between you and the therapist on an appropriate fee, not tied to a traditional fee schedule. This model is available to all consumers; please indicate your interest in your contact form to discuss it.
What is Open Path?
If you'd like to work with our providers at a reduced rate, we partner with Open Path Collective. Members pay a one-time fee of $65 to join and can then access sessions within the Open Path rate range. We can determine your session fee together once you're registered. If you have any questions or concerns about the membership process, Open Path can be reached directly at info@openpathcollective.org or 1-800-268-2833.
