Whitney is willing to work with people from any and every background. This includes those from low incomes or without insurance who may not be able to afford counseling otherwise. Please reach out to the office to as for more information.
Whitney uses a person-centered approach and cares greatly about ensuring her care is neurodivergent-affirming. She utilizes theories such as ACT and somatic techniques in her daily practice.
As an intern, Whitney is currently working on obtaining her Master’s degree and the necessary hours to get her license for counseling. Therefore, she does not have a license of her own and practices under her supervisors license, Jessica Coleman. Whitney’s internship supervisor at the University of Lynchburg, is Dr. Sarah Dixon. Whitney meets with her supervisors weekly to discuss each case to ensure the best of care for her clients. Please reach out with any further questions.
Whitney has flexible availability during the week, evenings, and weekends. She is available in-person at our office, or for telehealth sessions.
