Overview

Ready to level up your mental health journey? Intensive therapy offers a "turbocharged" approach to personal growth, providing longer sessions for accelerated progress. It's like a concentrated dose of therapy, designed to help you dive deep and achieve your goals more quickly. 

What is Intensive Therapy?

Intensive therapy involves longer and more frequent therapy sessions than traditional weekly sessions. This concentrated format allows for deeper exploration, faster skill development, and more rapid progress toward your goals. 

Who is it for?

 Intensive therapy can be beneficial for individuals, couples, and families who:

  • Are ready to commit to focused work and accelerated growth.
  • Want to address specific challenges or goals in a shorter timeframe.
  • Are experiencing a particularly challenging time in their lives and need more immediate support.
  • Prefer a more immersive therapeutic experience.

What to Expect


  • Personalized Approach: Heidi Olson, MA, Resident in Counseling, will work collaboratively with you to create a customized plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.
  • Flexible Formats: Choose from individual sessions (90 minutes to 1 hour) or "co-op mode" (3-4 hour sessions) for couples, families, or groups.
  • Active Participation: Be prepared to actively engage in the process, exploring your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with Heidi's guidance and support.
  • Safe and Confidential Environment:  All sessions are conducted in a safe and confidential therapeutic environment via telehealth.

  • Complete Intake Forms: Provide essential background information.
  • Prepare for Your First Session: Review this guide, come with questions, and be ready to actively participate.

Trouble Shooting

 

  • Feeling Stuck? It's normal to encounter challenges during intensive therapy. Don't hesitate to discuss any roadblocks with Heidi.
  • Progress Monitoring: Heidi will regularly check in with you to assess progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
