Winter Nervous System Reset

Are you feeling overwhelmed, drained, or “on edge” this winter?
Join our supportive online workshop for a gentle Winter Nervous System Reset designed to help you feel calmer, more grounded, and better equipped to move through this season.

Who is this workshop for?
If you’re an adult who feels more tired, anxious, overstimulated, or shut down in the winter months, this space is for you. This includes neurodivergent adults, highly sensitive folks, helping professionals, caregivers, and anyone noticing that their mind and body are having a harder time with the colder, darker, busier season.

What to Expect:

Each workshop, we’ll explore winter through a nervous-system lens, including:

  • Why Winter Feels Heavier: Learn how changes in light, routine, sensory load, and social demands impact your brain and body.

  • Grounding & Regulation Tools: Practice simple, low-demand strategies to settle your body and create small pockets of calm.

  • Gentle Breathwork: Explore a few accessible breath practices to use when you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or shut down.

  • Sensory & Environment Supports: Identify realistic adjustments to your space, schedule, and routines that support your nervous system.

  • ACT-Informed Coping: Learn a “name it, normalize it, navigate it” approach to big feelings and winter stress.

  • Your Winter Wellness Plan: Create a small, personalized plan that feels supportive and doable for your real life (not a perfect version of you).

Join us on Wednesday, December 11th from 6:30–7:30pm ET (virtual).
Come as you are, camera on or off. Sliding scale: $15 Accessible • $25 Standard • $35 Supporter • $20 Replay-Only.

Mindful Caregiving

Are you a caregiver feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or burnt out?  Join our supportive online community for a monthly "Lunch & Learn" workshop designed to provide you with practical tools and strategies to enhance your mental well-being.

Who is a caregiver?

If you provide support to a family member, friend, or neighbor of any age with a physical or mental health condition, you're a caregiver. This could include caring for a child with special needs, an aging parent, a spouse with a chronic illness, or someone recovering from an injury.

What to Expect:

Each month, Heidi Olson will guide you in a different topic related to caregiver mental health, including:

  • Self-Compassion & Resilience: Learn practical exercises to cultivate self-compassion and build resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Mindfulness in Daily Life: Discover simple mindfulness techniques you can incorporate into your daily routine to reduce stress and find moments of peace.
  • Managing Challenging Emotions: Develop effective strategies for coping with anxiety, grief, and frustration that often accompany caregiving.
  • Effective Communication: Improve your communication skills to navigate difficult conversations with loved ones, medical professionals, and support networks.
  • Building a Support System: Learn how to connect with other caregivers and access valuable resources in your community.
  • Self-Care Strategies: Prioritize your well-being and create a personalized self-care plan to prevent burnout and enhance your overall quality of life.

Join us on the Third Monday of every month from 12-1pm ET.

Connect with fellow caregivers, share experiences, and learn valuable skills to help you thrive in your caregiving journey. $10 per session or Pay-What-You-Can.

UNDERSTANDING BEHAVIOR (WITHOUT SHAME OR BLAME)

Are you a parent or caregiver feeling confused, overwhelmed, or unsure how to respond to your child’s behaviors?

Join our supportive online workshop designed to give you clear, compassionate tools for understanding behavior without shame or blame.

Who is this for?
If you care for a child of any age with emotional, sensory, developmental, or behavioral needs, this workshop is for you. This includes parents of neurodivergent children (AuDHD, ADHD, PDA profiles), anxious children, or kids who experience big feelings, meltdowns, shutdowns, or overwhelm.

What to Expect:

In this mini-workshop, Jessica Coleman will guide you through a nervous-system-first approach to understanding behavior, including:

  • Understanding the Nervous System: Learn how stress, overwhelm, and sensory load affect your child’s ability to regulate — and why behavior is a communication, not a character flaw.
  • Meltdowns vs. Shutdowns: Gain clarity on what’s happening in your child’s brain and body during big emotions, and why traditional approaches often fall short.
  • Co-Regulation Skills: Discover simple ways to help your child feel safe, grounded, and supported — even in stressful moments.
  • Reducing Power Struggles: Learn practical strategies to decrease conflict, increase connection, and support autonomy while maintaining structure.
  • Supporting PDA Profiles: Understand how demand avoidance shows up, why it happens, and how to approach it with flexibility and collaboration.
  • Compassionate Communication: Explore shame-free scripts and language to help soothe, validate, and connect with your child during hard moments.

Join us on Monday, December 15 from 6:30–7:30pm ET.
Connect with other parents, learn supportive strategies, and feel more confident navigating challenging behaviors at home.

Sliding Scale: $10 • $15 • $20.
Replay included.
